The Caring Foundation of Texas works with schools of health professions to bring students, nurses, pharmacists, and physician volunteers into communities. Students and providers gain firsthand knowledge and experience while families get access to the preventive care they need. Each Care Van provides different screenings and services, such as glucose screenings, blood pressure screenings, lipid tests, and childhood immunizations.
The Caring Foundation of Texas has provided more than 730,000 of these screening services, and aided more than 400,000 individuals with health education.
