According to the CDC, as many as 9 in 10 adults with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) do not know they have it. In collaboration with the National Kidney Foundation and the Texas Kidney Foundation, The Caring Foundation of Texas provides CKD screenings and education on the importance of taking care of your kidneys.
As diabetes has exploded to epidemic levels in the United States, so have the rates of CKD. The Caring Foundation of Texas has provided nearly 15,000 kidney services to individuals across the state.
