Partnering with Care Van

Thank you for your interest in the Care Van! Our Care Van clinics are temporarily on hold in the Dallas and Houston areas. Please check back soon for event reservations. If you have any questions or need any additional information, our team can be reached at info@carevan.org.

Host Requirements

  • Requests must be made at least 60 days before the event

  • Location must be enclosed and have a designated area for registration and immunizations.

  • If an area is on the 2nd floor or higher, access to an elevator is required

  • Host must provide adequate access to electricity (for vaccine coolers and copy machine)

  • Host must be able to effectively promote the event in the community. Promotions must inform parents that previous immunization records are required.

Participant Requirements

  • Parent or guardian must accompany children under 18 years of age (unless discussed with nurse ahead of time)

  • Parent or guardian must have the child’s most current immunization/shot records

  • School-age immunizations are only provided to qualified students. Click here to view child eligibility requirements.

To qualify for the Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) program, children must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • 18 years of age or younger
  • American Indian or Alaskan Native
  • Enrolled in Medicaid
  • No health insurance
  • Health insurance that does not fully cover vaccines (under-insured)
